Hey there, I’m Jimin, and thank you for stopping by!
I’m currently an undergraduate student at Princeton University looking to major in Comparative Literature or, at least, something to do with languages. I was born in Korea, but I was raised and educated in Hong Kong for fifteen years before spending nine months in Bahia, Brazil on a gap year (which, as you’ll discover, was perhaps the most wonderful, insightful, life-enriching year of my life).
Since then, I’ve moved back to Korea with my family and alternate between Seoul and New Jersey (where I go to school) (why else would I be there?) (only jokes, I love NJ).
If I’m not writing on this blog—or doing things that make me go hmm, I should write about this on my blog—I’m writing poetry, spending hours in weird parts of YouTube, eating sweet potatoes (or donuts… always donuts), writing letters, translating, thrifting, lifting weights (#getswole) and trying to make this bio send less cheesy.
It’s a wacky thing to share your life online and see the stats roll in without the names and faces. Write to me if something compels you to, and tell me about your stories and how they cross paths with mine!
